New Year's Resolutions
But as I was pouring my heart to God, I realized that that's exactly what the devil wants. Once you set your mind on something, he his eager to pull you down, he devotes himself in making sure your plan fails. And the more important the thing is, the more setbacks you are going to face. I know, it's sucky, but that's just the way it is.
Don't be surprised when you feel the pressure suddenly getting stronger. Don't be surprised finding yourself having to fight way more temptations than usually. Once you really dedicate yourself into accomplishing something, you are declaring a war to satan. And be aware of the fact that he is trying HIS BEST to knock you down, to make you feel like you will never ever be able to win.
But guess what - THAT IS A LIE! YOU CAN WIN! Satan will use every weapon possible in order to destroy you, in order to deceive you, in order to make you believe in this lie. But you need to realize something - he is bluffing! He had already lost the war. And Jesus had already won the war. For you. For every single temptation and trial you experience.
Come to God for the strength:
I love you, lord; you are my strength.**
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.***
And start proclaiming all this over your life! Don't let the devil destroy you!
