Don't waste your time?
But then I thought about it again. I realized God is always in charge and that He must have been in charge over Paul's situation as well. So how come He allowed such a big waste of time, you ask? Well ... He didn't. Because it WASN'T a waste of time. I mean just the fact that Paul had the opportunity to to tell Governor Felix and his wife "about faith in Chris Jesus. ... [and] He reasoned with them about righteousness and self-control and coming day of judgment ..." (Acts 24:24-25) gives you an idea about how there probably was a reason behind his imprisonment.
So I want to encourage you, if you are at a place you feel like you should be (or God had told you that's where you were supposed to be) then it's NOT a waste of time (even if you might feel like it is sometimes) because GOD DOESN'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
The only time you waste your time is when you deliberately do something you feel like God isn't calling you to do. But if you feel depressed and annoyed about your situation but at the same time know that's exactly where you're supposed to be, then you are NOT wasting your time.
So just trust The Lord, His plan for your life and His reasons behind your situation/circumstances.

Every moment, no matter how bleak and/or demotivating it seems, is an opportunity to glorify God by committing that time to him by seeking Him and opportunities to serve people in the "stuck" place that god has you at the moment.
